AI Music Generation Has Entered a New Phase – Normality

Not long ago, generating a full song with one click felt like science fiction.
Now, it feels… normal.

After testing Musicful.ai recently, we’ve reached that strange moment where pressing a button and getting a complete song — melody, vocals, structure and all — no longer shocks us. It’s exciting, but also oddly familiar.

This time, we tested Nafy AI (Music Studio) using only its Create Music feature, to see how it compares with other tools we’ve tried before.

And yes — once again, a full song appeared in seconds.

Our Test Setup

For this test, we focused on a realistic creative scenario: generating a song for the Like Magic AI newsletter using our own lyrics.

We generated the song using the same lyrics we prepared in advance (written with the help of ChatGPT), and compared the result with other AI music tools we had tested recently.

First Impression: This Is Already the New Normal

What stood out immediately wasn’t shock — it was how familiar the experience felt.

Click.
Wait a few seconds.
Full song.

After using several AI music generators, this process is becoming routine. The melody is catchy. The structure makes sense. The vocals are coherent. The song could easily pass as something you’d hear on Eurovision or mainstream pop radio.

In that sense, the results were exactly what we expected:

  • a polished, complete song
  • emotionally consistent
  • easy to listen to
  • professionally structured

But also… a little bit empty.

Like many AI-generated songs (and honestly, like much of today’s mainstream music), something feels slightly missing. The song works technically. It sounds right. But it lacks that unpredictable human “spirit” that makes music feel deeply personal.

Then again, that’s not very different from a lot of real-world pop music today.

Genre & Mood Selection: Surprisingly Rich

One of the biggest surprises was the sheer number of genres and moods available.

You can mix and match:

  • Pop, Rock, Ballad, Electronic, Cinematic
  • Romantic, Powerful, Inspirational, Calm, Dark, Happy
  • Different tempos and voice types

This makes the tool fun to explore and easy to adapt for different creative uses:

  • background music
  • intros
  • branding songs
  • social media content
  • experimental tracks

It’s clear the tool is designed for quick creative iteration rather than deep musical production.

Just a part of Genre selection

More Than Just “Create Music”

Beyond song generation, nafy.ai offers several additional features:

Vocal Remover – Allows you to remove vocals from existing tracks, useful for karaoke, remixes, or background music creation.

AI Cover – Transforms a song into another voice or style, similar to viral “AI voice covers” seen on social media.

AI Music Editor – Lets you tweak and refine generated tracks instead of starting from scratch each time.

Voice Changer – Enables voice transformation for creative audio projects or experimentation.

Final Verdict (LMAI Scale: 4/5)

Nafy AI delivers exactly what modern AI music tools promise: fast, polished, listenable songs at the click of a button. The genre and mood selection is rich, the interface is simple, and the results feel production-ready for many creative use cases.

However, the lyrics generation remains its weakest point. We relied on our own lyrics because the tool doesn’t yet offer enough confidence or clarity in that area. The music sounds right — but the soul still feels a little borrowed.

Still, as part of a growing ecosystem of AI music tools, nafy.ai is solid, fun, and genuinely useful. It may not replace human musicians, but it proves once again how quickly AI creativity is becoming everyday reality.
Strong music generation, great genre flexibility — but lyrics still need a human touch.
